International pop star Justin Bieber received a grand welcome in Mumbai with his first ever concert in the country.  While ‘Beliebers’ were left swooning after his performance, several people felt the exorbitant ticket prices weren’t worth it and his lip syncing was another let down.

           It was pitched as possibly the biggest live performance ever by an international artiste in India.

        Well, let’s just say the nigh had its own hits and misses.

   The good things in that performance are;

          Once Bieber thought the first bars of Cold water sounded off, he proceeded to tune his guitar with an apology to the audience and started the song over.    

        The way Bieber reached out to his Beliebers in the audience. He did make it a point to keep his gig as interactive as possible and one lucky  female fan even 

managed to get hold of his scarf.

          Another funny moment was that Bieber’s crew unfurled the Indian flag on stage without having an FIR, a case is filed against them.

           The stage area at the DY Patil Stadium was filled with hysterical teenagers, who had been waiting for their idol since 3pm that afternoon. But they couldn’t figure out that were actually waiting for the poor lip sync show of their idol. 

          Bieber lip synced his way through most of performance, about eight tracks out of 12 and didn’t even show off his dance moves.

           There were a lot of parents who had a “Why did I decide to have kids” moment, as they stood there dispiritedly in the background. This, while their children screamed their lungs out for the barely adult himself pop sensation and demanded overpriced ice cream (Rs 100 for a Cornetto). 

          What all had people suffered for a concert!!! 

 This isn’t the end; the rest of the story is much more interesting than what we read already.

                   Bieber had planned a party with the Bollywood stars and a visit to TajMahal just after the concert. But these two things didn’t happen. And people could witness the international pop star eloping to his country in the midnight without even wearing a shirt. Poor Bieber!!!

          Fans of the singer who might have decided to catch a glimpse of him in Agra and Delhi would be the most disappointed people in the world right now.

          The people were pretty pissed off when they saw Bieber chewing the gum and lip syncing to most of his songs. And just because his concert didn’t go as planned, people

          Some of the tweets were so mercilessly funny. And Bieber, it’s too late to say sorry now.

          It is quite a funny thing that people  are crazy on these  

celebrities. There are a lot of people around us who are struggling for a day’s meal. But we are at the same time enjoying a concert like this by spending millions.       

            And yes Mr. Pop Star next time if you are going to lip sync, at least attempts to sync your lips and show some courtesy to those who made you a star!!

           His songs have a lot of fans across the globe. His albums like never say Never, My World 2.0, Believe and the like were huge hits. He had previously done world tours to promote his albums. But it was for the first time his stage show has become a ‘Flop Show’. This show was to promote his album called Purpose.

          Before coming to India, he had demanded for a long list of things. And the Indian authority had worked hard to meet his demands. But what happened at the end?? He came. He lip synced. He eloped.

          Our fantasy towards these celebrities sometimes deceives us. This was such a kind of thing.
