PM Narendra Modi is controlled by Corporates
– Rahul Gandhi
Narendra Modi does not have basic respect for farmers. He does not even care if over 100 farmers die. He thinks he has the power and the protesting farmers will tire out after some days He is mistaken. They will not relent.
The Narendra Modi government was being remote-controlled by a hand full of corporate houses. Prime Minister Narendra Modi trying to hand over what belongs to farmers. The farm laws have been brought to finish off the farmers.
The talks are being held only to delay. The farmers had maintained the country's independence by ensuring food security. If food security is lost, the country will lose its independence. This is a financial issue, not a political issue. Mody wants to hand over everything that farmers have, to three-four corporate leaders. He is the country's' prime minister but the remote control is in the hands of three-four people. said Mr.Rahul Gandhi.
Corporates have their eyes on the foodgrain market
- Bindi Sharma
Adani, Ambani, and other corporates had their eyes on the massive foodgrain market of India. They had a few problems:
Problem 1: States had different rules and regulations to buy foodgrains from farmers. It was difficult for corporates to handle so many states with so many different regulations and taxes.
Modi Solution: Took control from states and made one act for the whole country. Corporates are happy now.
Problem 2: Corporates will buy crops and store them. But the Essential Commodities Act stops them from storing crops for a long time as it increases prices in the market.
