Business leaders from across the globe, along with entrepreneurs and investors, will be in attendance.  Around 1,500 delegates from over 160 countries will participate in the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) which to be held from November 28th to 30th, 2017..  Entrepreneurs from India, 400 from the US and 400 from the rest of the world and a total of 300 investors will participate in the summit.

city and that makes it easier.

India and the US will co-host the three-day event. The American delegation will be led by Ivanka.  A US official here confirmed that the "big event" is slated for 28 November with "high-level" participation from the Government of India, Other than the US.

GES 2017 will create an environment that empowers innovators, particularly women, to take their ideas to the next level.  Women represent tremendous promise for economic growth and prosperity,  but both developing and  developed  countries face tremendous barriers to building businesses.  The  theme  of this  Summit,  “Women First, Prosperity for All” to celebrate entrepreneurial spirit in all its strength, diversity and entirety.  The 2017 GES  intends to inspire innovative initiatives, forge new collaborations across countries, and increase economic opportunities, particularly amongst women.

Katherine Hadda, US Consul General said, “There are some 130 American companies in Hyderabad, which in addition to creating jobs both here and the US, are always

actively working to stimulate entrepreneurship and women's empowerment".

Ivanka Trump, Advisor to the president, will lead the U.S. delegation to elevate women’s entrepreneurship globally.  Ivanka had tweeted, "Honoured to lead the US delegation to GES

2017 in India and meet with Prime Minister Modi and passionate entrepreneurs from around the globe!" .  The theme of the summit is 'Women First, Prosperity for All', highlighting the critical role women play in fostering global growth and prosperity.

"We hope to have women represent at least 50 percent of entrepreneurs and investors," the US official said.

The focus sectors of the GES include energy and infrastructure, healthcare and life sciences, financial technology in digital economy,  media and entrepreneurship and possibly, agriculture and agricultural entrepreneurship.

"In the Summit, the process of selecting the entrepreneurs and the investors is going on," the official said, adding that emphasis will be on start-ups.

At GES 2017, over  1500 attendees, including entrepreneurs, investors, educators, government officials, and business representatives will represent the full measure of entrepreneurial talent from

diverse backgrounds across our nation and the world.  Through networking, mentoring and workshops, the GES empowers entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas, build partnerships, secure funding and create innovative products and services that will transform societies for better tomorrow.

GES participants will be truly global, with representation from every region of the world.  Entrepreneurs will represent a diverse range of geographies, industries, business size and scalability.  Investors and representatives from organizations that support entrepreneurs will be hand-picked to catalyze investment, networking, mentoring and hands-on activities.  There will be special emphasis on empowering young and women entrepreneurs and the role they play in making communities more prosperous and secure through enterprise.

The International society is curiously waiting for the success of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit, which is the need of the time.
