Corruptions & criminalism of left wing leaders will cease to exist Brazil saw more than 63,000 murders last year according to the Brazilian Forum of Public Security, and Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro's vows to crack down the rising crime. Bolsonaro has pledged to eradicate corruption from public life - a bold promise after years of corruption scandals that have enraged the electorate and tarnished large swaths of Brazil's political class. Scores of Brazilian politicians and business leaders were swept up in a major corruption probe known as Lava Jato, or Car Wash, and other interlocking investigations since 2014. Among those implicated was former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio "Lula" da Silva, who is currently serving a 12-year term in jail. Bolsonaro, who said that Lula should "rot in jail", has also promised to purge Brazil of left-wing "criminals" and poured scorn on the PT as the epicentre of Brazil's corruption problems. "Either they leave or go to jail … these red outlaws will be banished from our homeland," Bolsonaro said "It will be a cleansing never seen in Brazilian society," he added. "Car Wash" leading judge Sergio Moro - who sentenced Lula to nearly 10 years in prison last year - accepted the position of justice minister in the Bolsonaro government with an expansive role in fighting corruption. America Shut down, crisis Federal employees and contract workers across the country described a holiday season marred by increasing financial worries. Some 8,00,000 federal employees have either been furloughed or will continue to work without pay during the partial shutdown, and it is unclear how long it will last. Many declined to identify themselves publicly, so their stories could not be confirmed. Yet their tales of hardship spread widely. One man said he became homeless: he broke his lease in anticipation of moving to another state to train for a new federal job. And the training was cancelled. Essential federal employees who are being asked to work during the shutdown will eventually get paid. But many families are trying to figure out how to pay their bills in the meantime. The longest shutdown, which lasted 21 days, started in December 1995, as Republicans in Congress and President Bill Clinton could not agree on a long-term budget agreement. About 2,84,000 federal employees were furloughed and an additional 4,75,000 worked without pay. |
India : Country’s’ wealth is stolen by corporates - Rahul Gandhi Fear is now rampaging through Mr Modi’s mind. He can’t sleep. He transferred 30,000Cr from the IAF and given to Anil Ambani, a man with no SKILLS in making aircraft. Meanwhile, millions of skilled youngsters face the highest unemployment rate in twenty years. "Modiji is making two Hindustans. One is the Hindustan for Anil Ambani -- who without doing anything, without making an airplane, will get the Rafale contract worth Rs 30,000 crore from Modiji. "The second is the Hindustan for farmers -- whose 750 kg of onion grown after four months of toil will get only Rs 1040 from Modiji," In addition to corruption, the PM should be investigated for weakening national security by giving the Rafale contract to his friend and international debt master, Anil Ambani. Mr Modi and his coterie of cronies, continue to destroy every institution they can get their hands on.Converting India into a police state isn’t going to solve your problems, Modi Ji. It’s only going to prove to over 1 billion Indians, what an insecure dictator you really are!. In relation to Pakistan, Rahul said, "I am all for peaceful relationship with Pakistan, but I will absolutely not tolerate violence being carried out against innocent Indians by the Pakistani state. You cannot carry out acts of terror in India and expect India to talk kindly to you." Karachi water scarcity, life miserable It's heart wrenching to see a mother walk by her feet several hundred meters to get a few buckets of water; and there's a thirsty disabled child waiting at home. I think people should stop talking about the country, the people, the religion, etc. and see the bigger picture: water scarcity is the future all countries will face. Imagine having to spend half your salary or more buying water, sometimes only available illegally from criminals. Or if water taps in your area only ran once a fortnight in the middle of the night for less than two hours. That was the situation for millions in the city of Karachi. Ordinary families were the hardest hit as Fazeel Aslam reported. It's heart wrenching to see a mother walk several hundred meters to get a few buckets of water; there's a thirsty disabled child waiting at home. The main problem of this country is corruption. I'm sure they have more than enough water if only they would distribute it equally. And yet here they are filling pools and pumping water to tankers illegally for just one household. This country is going mad. Why aren’t they building dams? Rather buying nukes and arms. Social media comments |
