Outfits that never go Outta style…!!

     Defining trends is nowadays not an easy task. It changes frequently. Fashion itself is a reflection of Social, Economic, Political and Cultural changes. It expresses modernity, symbolizing the spirit of the times. But trend is not what it used to be. Many people now follow their own fashion rules, inspired by what they see on the fashion animated streets, the internet and in the live streamed fashion shows that are becoming a staple channel for fashion lovers. But there are some outfits that never go out of style. The way we wear it may changes over time.  New experiments may have done but these outfits always possess a safe position in the fashion industry. So don’t discard the pieces that will never, ever go out of fashion.

A simple top and full skirt : A full skirt has been a classic silhouette for decades. It can be wear with any kind of top. This is a look that’s not going anywhere and works for just about any occasion.

An LBD : This is one item you can wear and wear again changing up the accessories and footwear if you like to keep up with trends. It always remains trendy because the versatility of a simple black dress is unmatched. From Audrey Hepburn to Cindy Crawford every single style icon has embraced it. Fashion historians ascribe the origins of the little black dress to the 1920s design of Coco chanel and Jean Patou intended to belong lasting, 

versatile, affordable, accessible to the widest market  possible and in a neutral colour.

Because it meant to be a staple of the wardrobe for a number of years, the style of the little black dress ideally should be as simple as possible.

Denim : Denim has been used in the USA since the mid-19th century. It initially gained popularity in 1873 when Jacob W Davis manufactured the first pair of rivet-reinforced denim pants. It is among the most versatile and practical fabrics beloved in its time by soldiers, railway workers and of course since the mid-1950s by any fashion follower worth his or her credentials. Given fashion’s current utilitarian mood it is not entirely surprising that both in the upper echelon and on the high street denim is having an extended moment in the sun.

Jeans : Jeans has been a part of the fashion industry for quite some time and it never seems to grow out of popularity and it never seems to go out of Fashion.The different styles of how the jeans are designed changes through the fashion seasons but they always come back.Jeans have gone through several transitions from the bell bottom jeans to the tight cigarette jeans type. Then there was the emergence of the hip hop very loose jeans that were spotted by rappers mostly. Wearing 

 

 

ripped jeans gives that rugged, rebellious look to a man and would make a woman look very hip and chic.

Pencil skirt : Narrow fitting skirts have a long history in western fashion. The predecessor to the pencil skirt is hobble skirt.

The French designer Christian Dior introduced the classicmodern pencil skirt in his Autumn winter collection.

White Shirt : Never underestimate the power of White Shirt. If you don’t have anything to wear this is the outfit to wear. The white button down will forever be the hardest working piece in anyone’s closet.  

      There is no such thing as classy as a White shirt. They are like jeans; the shape, fabric and finish alter by the year. The story of white shirt goes back well over a century when it was  a sign of status and egocentric landed gentry.

Cigarette pants : They hailed from the 50s. Cigarette pants remained trendy because it is a simply universal flattering. Wearing that length of trousers has a slimming effect.

Trench Coats : The classic trench coat has been since the 1850s but is still as relevant today as ever. It’s the perfect coat to throw on during the spring or fall when it’s still chilly but not cold enough for a winter coat.  Developed as an alternative to the heavy serge great coats worn by British and French soldiers in the First World War. But it still is a classy trend in Fashion.

     Besides this universal outfits there are some classy,traditional Indian outfits that will never get outdated. Indian fashion varies from one village to another village. But there are some traditional Indian outfits that are always in trends.

Saree : Saree’s have seen an evolution with the diverse styles it offers. The most popular types of saris are banarasi sari, kanjivaram sari,silk sari,kerala sari,pochampalli sari etc.The sari is probably the only traditional dress which has remained in the trend even before people knew about the existence of trend. Nobody faults the sari’s timeless elegance. It is definitely the most versatile garment.  You can wear it at any age and wear it for almost any occasion. It consistently reinvents itself and wearing it

is all about individuality, creativity and pushing boundaries. Saris has even bled beyond boundaries. The saree itself might not have seen an intense evolution as the blouse has over the years, from cape style to crop top ones the variations are many.Plus you can easily put your imagination to work by trying various drapes and pallu styles to make the same saree look unique each time.

Salwar Kameez : Another Indian wear that has been fashionable for ages and will probably remain fashionable for years to come. Over time there have been many changes in fabrics,styles and designs but for Indian woman of all ages this fashion trend will never go out of style . Indian women take pride in wearing salwar kameez though it’s a traditional wear. This feeling is enhanced by the awareness that it is also fashionable trend to wear them. It is considered to be the perfect dress for every woman.

Kurta pyjama : Worn by men, the kurta pyjama is worn across India. Be it a festive occasion or tradition ceremonies, the kurta is worn along with either the pyjama or churidaar, The master piece clothing has survived ages. The other variety of this attire is the Pathani suit which has become the fashion trend lately.

       Your closet has seen trends come and go, some trends graduate into wardrobe essentials but the basics are forever. These outfits are always in style because the flexibility and the comfort it offers. We always need to be comfortable, so we pick this ones.
