"Earth  is dangerously close to breaking through a 1.5C upper limit for global warming, climate scientists have warned.  The Paris climate summit  had made a decision to limit global warming to 1.5C.Scientists and Campaigners had failed the move as a land mark decision.  By setting the target, they said, desertification, heat waves, wide spread flooding and other global warming impacts could be avoided.Just 8 months after, the Paris summit  data show that average global temperatures were already more than 1C above per industrial levels."

Neethi  Mohan- Singer says -

"My father was always motivating.  There is a saying -  there is a woman behind  every successful man.  I say there is a father behind every successful daughter.  Where it not for him,  we  would not have been able to achieve what we have!...

The singer talks about how much he trusts his daughters.  “My father trusts  me and my sisters a lot.   My sisters have always tried to maintain that trust.  I have had a good journey so far in the industry and I can never break my father’s trust, I always feel  there is a hidden camera through which he will come to know if I do anything wrong or unethical.”"

Arifa Kodiyil - ‘Muslim girl practising Kalaripayattu’

My parents always taught me to stay fearless and fight back, when needed. I am a devout, headscarf-wearing Muslim girl who is very serious about her beliefs, but I don't think it has affected my love for Kalaripayattu at all.  My family has a solid background in Kalaripayattu and thus, I was introduced to the art when I was five years old. I used to watch my uppa K Haneefa Gurukkal taking classes in his Kalari and he is also my first guru.  Now, I train more than 20 students, ranging from the age of five to 30. For me, Kalaripayattu is another word for confidence and dignity.  I believe that I have also inspired more girls from our region to take up this martial art and be confident. I don't think one's religious beliefs need to be mixed with the various interests we pursue.

"Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi  expressed vigorously at his critics that,  “ I would like to tell these people that  if you have any problem, if you have attack, attack  me. Stop attacking my Dalit brethren. If you have to shoot, shoot me, but not my Dalit brothers. This game should stop." Modi said at times some incidents come to notice which give us "unbearable pain". "It should be our responsibility to save and respect them (Dalits),    I know this problem is social. It is a result of sins which have crept into the society. But we need to take extra care and save society from such danger.  Society should not be allowed to be divided on.”
