J K Rowling slams Trump’s Mika Brzezinski tweet

“Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power,” Harry potter author J K Rowling fired back  to the two tweets of US President Donald Trump insulting Morning Joe Co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mike Brzezinski.

That quote which she attributed to President Abraham Lincoln, led to over 35,000 re-tweets for the author.

President Trump drew widespread condemnation for a series of tweets which he attacked the television host Mika Brzezinski, calling her “low I.Q. Crazy Mika” and referring to a past meeting during which he claimed “she was bleeding badly from a face lift.”

Not just Rowling, celebrities like John Legend, Chrissy Teigen and Chelsea Handler took to Twitter following the Tweets to slam the President’s attack, accusing him

of bullying.

‘You are a national embarrassment. It’s like you have no idea how to even fake being a normal human being. You are the proud type of insane’. Christine Teigen tweeted.

This isn’t the first time the “harry Potter” author has attacked Trump on twitter, she’s been vocal against him in the past.

In fact, Trump has been everyone’s favorite topic in tweeting since he claimed into the position of US President.

Earlier, when, just moments after US President Donald Trump used the London terror attack to push his controversial Muslim ban on twitter, the outspoken writer hit back. Not just Rowling many celebrities and well known personalities tweeted against trump in the Scarborough-Brzezinski issue.

It seems like President Trump is not bothered about anything like this.  He is different , his policies are different. Just take a look at some incidents that made him different from rest of the Presidents.

Trump fired the director of the FBI for failing to demonstrate personal loyalty to him.  Historically, presidents have avoided firing the head of the FBI out of respect for federal law enforcement’s independence. After all, FBI directors serve ten year terms precisely to ensure a measure of distance from the Oval Office’s occupant. It shows he is not a typical President. The president did not give James Comey the opportunity to resign.

The Trump administration has confirmed that US will quit the Paris climate accord. Also, mendaciously accused London’s first Muslim mayor of being indifferent to

terrorism, hours after a terrorist  attack in London.

He has also released a budget with a $2 trillion math error. The Trump budget assumes that his enormous supply side tax cut will pay for itself, by generating $2 trillion in growth induced revenue gains. It also assumes that the estate tax will generate $328 billion in revenue over the next decade, even though the white House official tax plan abolishes that revenue stream.

Another one important thing what Trump has done was that he allowed the Justice department to prosecute a woman for laughing at Jeff Sessions.

He knowingly hired a paid agent of the Turkish government as his national security adviser. He has allowed the State Department’s website to advertise his Florida resort.

Trump could not gain the popularity and acceptance received by Obama among the middle class people. But, for sure he has gained acceptance among billionaires and those who lead a luxurious lifestyle, since, he is one among them.

A president should always be responsible and should behave with some amount of maturity. If not, people will not respect him. What about Mr. Trump. Is this his way of showing maturity and responsibility?

He had done a lot many things for his nation. But, at the end people will count only the deeds he has done to his people, not the good things.

The decisions and policies adopted by trump so far prove that what J K Rowling said is right. Her words can be considered as the voice of the society. She has done her role of social responsibility.
